I have 4 driving tickets on my record, one for not stopping completely before turning on a red light, one for merging out of a right-turn-only lane, one for driving HOV, and one for running a red light.

I also fudged alittle on my resume, for a position I put "Intern" instead of "Summer Associate."

For my references, I put a co-worker down, but I never really worked directly with him, we worked in different departments.

Will this make me fail my pre-employment background check?
I do not have a criminal record, have never been arrested.
They’re not checking my credit history. They’re checking my education, employment (past 7 years), driving records, and criminal records.
The job is an Accounting position.
The company gave me a sheet of paper that had a bunch of items of a background screening and specifically checked what they were going to check. Credit history was not checked off. But it doesn’t matter anyway, i have a good credit history.

I told me co-worker about it, and he knows what to say as my reference.

I thought background check might display your credit report and criminal records………
but not necessarily prior employment.

It is my understanding that employers verify your work history through the process of calling your references.

Is that correct?

There is no help at the Embassy in the UK because of the dual citizen thing. The document they require actually says,"CERTIFICATE OF NO CRIMINAL RECORDS and it has to be legalized and translated into Italian by the Italian consulate or Embassy in the country of origin". I’m trying to find my criminal records for FREE. If possible I’d like to do this online but it’s not out of the question to go pick it up if needed. Well my daughters father has a criminal record. He has been without any problems for sometime now. Plus finding out he had a daughter also is keeping him on the right track. Well I guess he can’t hold a job or can’t find one. But I know he can.
Everytime I talk with him he always says he can’t get a job because of his record. But equal opportunity employment is what everyone holds as a written standard. So I don’t know why he is always telling me NO ONE is going to hire him. Although I know plenty of people must be working in the United States that have criminal records. What can I do. Why should people with criminal records who serve as negative influences on the moral development of their children not be able to retain custody?

When you fill out applications for employment they always say list all arrests/convictions on your record within X number of years. How many years is it in Illinois? What state has the shortest time frame for looking back on criminal records? I have a reckless driving charge on my record which can never be sealed or expunged under the new 2010 laws in illinois and I do not want to ruin my future employment opportunities over trying to hide a misdemeanor.

The order is later lifted because of lack of evidence. Is the person criminal record still affected?, is still going to show a restraining order was put and lifted or it will look completely clean?

So if it does pass and it is legal, will they clear the criminal records of past marijuana offenders?

Do you agree that illegal immigrants who commit crimes in the US should be allowed to come back in? I don’t. We have enough criminals of our own to rehabilitate. Tough luck if they have ‘anchor babies’ here. They should have thought of that before having them. We need these losers like we need a hole in the head. So, what do you think?

We bring people who want to be immigrants through Immigration because we want to know who they are, and where they have been. There is not one single Mexican Mafia member that would be allowed in this country if they applied, by the way. But they do not, and if they did apply, the Mexican Government may well not supply the correct information on the guy.

Ask your local newspaper/television station to research this question. Find out for yourselves. And if you look a their burgoning criminal records, stopping the illegal aliens is looking better, and better.

Often times I view criminal case dockets from the cuyahoga county clerk of courts website.(Ohio) I attempted to do so today, and was denied access. It said something about the site having a list of ip address that were blocked from the site and mine was included. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen? Do they have too many records of me accessing criminal records in a short period of time? If so, why does it matter the number of times I view them? Just wondering, Thanks!

I am writing an narrative nonfiction about Michael Lee Lockhart. I need to try to obtain his criminal records. Also I need to talk to a criminal psychologist. This task is becoming very hard to do, but it needs to be done. I am also looking for other information on him too.

In Missouri criminal records are posted online, and you can’t get a job hardly anywhere if you have a felony.

I need to find a criminal record for someone who lived in Maryland. I know they were incarcerated for two years, but I do not know the charge(s). In NC, which is where I live, you can easily search for criminal records for free from the Department of Corrections website. I am having trouble finding a similar feature on any government website in Maryland. Thanks for your help!

i live in australia, i was wondering do criminal records ever get wiped i know for very serious cases thay dont,but for say drug trafficking? i was charged for drug trafficking for one night,will that ever get removed or is there some way i could get it wiped?( victorian resident.australia)
