People Background Search

I have a felony warrant from a county in a miwest state. I live in the far North now. I have paid restitution in full for this misunderstanding. Despite repeatedly calling and speaking with the prosecuting attorneys office. This warrant still shows up when I do a county search. I have passed employment background checks. I have passed high security (oil company) background checks. But will I pass a TWIC background check?

And will it come up on an employment background check?

I just found out through an employment background check that I have a failure to appear warrant in California for an unpaid traffic ticket that I did not know I had. I now live in Florida, how can I handle this from where I am?

I was stopped in Raton NM because i was driving without a license( I already have my DL) last year when i was 17. The officer told me that the office would call. On my ticket it said that i had to go to Raton the following month but i live in Texas they haven’t called or send any letter stating i have a warrant what do you think? Also will it come out in the background check i never gotten into trouble.

I have 2 bench warrants on my driving record, I know I need to appear in court and pay my fines to have them cleared and as soon as i can save enough money to do so I will. I have submitted several employment applications at various locations and I’m not hearing back from anyone. My question is, are my warrants preventing me from acquiring employment? They are for traffic violations only and I have no criminal background.

I am applying for a management position at Qdoba Mexican Grill. I am going to get a conditional job offer and they will run a CRIMINAL only background check. I believe I have a warrant for a traffic ticket I did not pay and missed my court date on. Will this show up on my background check or keep me from getting this job? How should I handle this situation?

I had a warrant that was issued in October and I was never mad aware of it and I have now applied for a job in a hospital that does a background check, now that the background check is over I have paid the fine and I am not sure what I should do now that I think that the background is already mad it back to the employer? I recently got hired at a job on Wednesday of Last week(2-9-11) Im just waiting for my pre-employment background check before I can start. Here is the issue. I received a Letter today from the Courthouse saying I have a Warrant For My Arrest and the warrant was issued on 2-11-11. I immediately went down to the courthouse to figure out why, cause I havent done anything wrong. I talked to the lady and The warrant was issued because I havent finish paying my DUI class. She immediately Recalled the warrant and NO more warrant, issue solved. Now I am stressed out. I want this job so bad! Would it show up on my background check? and Should I call the employer tomorrow and tell her the situation? (The lady told me the warrant would be immediately off my background check)
She Knows I have the DUI conviction already. I just dont want this warrant to show up on my Background Check and exclude me from the job.

I have also been told that I wrote a hot check would that also show up on my background check?

I was wondering if anyone knew if a traffic warrant would show up if someone had to do a background check for a new job? The person is moving to a different state so the job isn’t in the same state as the warrant. Thanks in advance!

The ticket and fees have been paid and the warrant revoked. I have not been physically arrested. Does that still show up in a background check, or does it give me a criminal recrod? Thanks.

If a potential new employer did a background check before hiring someone, would it show if they had a warrant for traffic tickets or anything else? Please only answer if you actually know. Thank you.

i got rejected for a job that i was sure i would get and the interviewer even said that unless there was some huge problem that i should get the job. I havent heard anything back and i was supposed to hear back like 2 weeks ago. i figured there must be like an outstanding warrant for my arrest and freaked out. i called my local police department and they said they could check my records (contrary to belief i guess u can check over the phone, my police dept even has a warrant division) the nice woman checked several databases and said she couldnt see any warrant in or outside of the state of california. i told her there was a problem with my background check and she said she didnt know what it could be. could the check have seen more than the police could? like some secret warrant?

I was wondering about this as I have a friend who has schizophrenia and can’t remember if he has any unpaid traffic violations in the several jurisdictions he has lived in that he hasn’t taken care of. He is paralyzed with fear at the prospect of searching any of the online resources for this information and, of course, does not wish to ask a member of law enforcement, so he was thinking that his pending case with Social Security would include a criminal warrant and background check and settle the matter. I am going to a CDL school in Indiana(where I live) and I have a Califronia liscense. When I get pulled over the warrant shows up as non extraditable (meaning they cant touch me outside of Virginia). So will a background check for a trucking company show my warrant in Virginia, which is about 2 years old? If it does do you think it might disqualify me from employment, the company is C.R. England, a major company within the transportation industry.

I am getting a background check with sprint and just found out about my warrant in another state will it show up? How deep in detail does sprint use?

I’ve been waiting to take care of it until I had the money. My question is…Will this show up on a "Criminal" background check or is this just for felonies? If it does show up, will this sort of "blemish" be harmful for a retail job?

I just asked this question and all everyone said was that my past criminal history comes up. I already know this and that was not what I wanted to know. I’m wondering if when they do a background check on my previous court records and charges will they know weather or not I have a warrant?

Would a misdemeanor warrant in another state show up on a pre-employment background check?

I have been pulled over for traffic infraction but the police never said anything.

I know I should take care of this, and plan on doing so next time I go back to visit in June, but for now, just wondering.
