Make sure your house is clean and give your illegal immigrant employees the day off (i.e. guy who cuts your grass, Jose; the maid, Maria; the nanny, Guadalupe).

If you act while the current administration is in office, just say *yes* when they ask if you’ve donated to the GOP in the last ten years.

Just be honest. Don’t be surprised or angry if it turns out they also interviewed your neighbors. Can’t speak for border patrol, but for DOD jobs, the FBI has a chat with your neighbors as part of the background check when the job has a classified rating, even the lowest level rating……

Honest won’t help if you do have a skeleton in your closet. They are thorough. They probably know the answers to the questions that they are going to ask already. If they are actually coming to your house to interview you, then you have passed the first part of the process. If they found something in their background checks you would have never have heard from them again. Good luck.

Say you are a Dyed in the wool neo-con. Support the death penalty. Say all illegal immigrants should be shipped back to native country in the same box-cars they came in. Say the poor and the elderly should not be given special treatment…survival of the fittest. Support all of the corporations with no restrictions on pollutants…etc
