    Juvenile records are sealed and should not show up on adult background checks.

    I don’t think that you’ll have any problems just as long as you don’t lie on your application in the area where it says "have you ever been convicted of a crime" just tell them yes and explain the reason you were arrested that’s all you have to do is be truth full and tell them that you went to court and paid retribution (paid the store for the item that you took) and that you also paid court fees.
